After weeks of brutal oppression unleashed upon the people of Bangladesh by the tyrant Hasina, her government henchmen, and her foreign caretakers, she was humiliatingly forced to flee the country. The brave Muslims of Bangladesh, led by courageous students, endured unparalleled brutality and ultimately forced her removal through an unstoppable wave of protests that overwhelmed the dictator.

The Muslims of Bangladesh have once again highlighted the immense potential within the ummah, demonstrating the inevitable fate awaiting tyrants who brutalise their citizens. Although this is a victory of sorts, the ummah must heed the lessons of similar scenarios in countries like Egypt and Sudan. The colonialist tentacles extend deep into the ummah’s resources, cunningly snatching away victories by discarding their agent tyrants when their usefulness has expired, only to replace them with people whose loyalties remain in the laps of the foreign and hostile powers.

The ummah must ensure that her resources, such as the armies, remain under her control so that the demands of true justice for all—embodied only in the system revealed by Allah (SWT)—can be established with total independence by the ummah of Muhammad (SAW).

We congratulate the Muslims of Bangladesh for their patience and perseverance, and we make dua that Allah swt accepts the many martyrs and this marks the beginning of a great revival for the Muslims of Bangladesh in establishing the mercy and justice of Islam for all people.

And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare (in horror) [Quran 14:42]
